- Documentation
- -------------
-
- The documentation consists of ASCII files stored in the directory
- "helpdocs".
-
- When a word is clicked on, either in the command lists, or in the
- help window, AWebEd looks in "helpdocs" for a file with the same
- name. If it finds it, it displays it in the help window. The
- convention for links is to have them in upper-case to draw attention
- to them.
-
- It is therefore very simple to alter the documentation and add your
- own to accompany your custom AMAL commands. Use a text editor
- such as Ed or AWebEd to generate the text, and save it to the
- helpdocs directory.
-
- It is important to remember to keep "link" words between documents
- seperated by spaces on either sides - not by other punctuation
- marks. Otherwise, AWebEd will not recognise them.
